Boss Demon Hatred 13: 2 Demolishers vs. 8 Hectebi

Lucky 13, amirite? There are two Demolishers fighting 8 Hectebi. The Demolisher returns of course, they fought the Hellsmith. Packing 6,000 hitpoints, a double-chaingun, and a BFG launcher, these guys are more than one could want to fight. In fact, they can be seen launching TWO BFG shots. So all of that firepower under a sum total of 12,000 hitpoints, that makes for some serious hurtin'. Those two behemoths are fighting against 8 Hectebus monsters. They each have 1,500 hitpoints. They are simply larger, color-modified Mancubus monsters. Their attacks are more powerful than that of the Mancubus as well, but there are only two fireballs fired, instead of the Mancubus' three. The sum total of all of their health equals 12,000. So it's fair game. Or is it? Both are found, yet again, at Tormentor667's website. www.realm667.com. They're under the "Beastiary" section. As I've been saying before, a Cyberdemon-based monster is under way. However, new sprites have to be made for my vision. Oh, and I might supplement the Cyberdemon with a new attack as well. :D

Boss Demon Hatred 12: 2 Terminators vs. 8 Incubi

Twelve for the count. The terminator makes a return. 7,000 hitpoints, and there's two. That equals 14,000. Quite a contending force. Terminators have several attacks. One is sustained machine-gun fire, another is a bouncing red ball that explodes into many pieces, and each one can travel through enemies (making it even deadlier than a simple explosion that doesn't travel through enemies). The other involves a volley of fireballs that are about the same as a rocket, but the explosion is obviously smaller and there's apparently no blast radius that can be noticed. Yowza! There's 8 Incubi to dish out the pain. They have 3,000 hitpoints each, so if you add them all up, that equals 24,000! Seems to be an unfair fight. Anyway, these guys shoot three volleys of two small plasma shots, which can kill a player with 100% health. They have another attack though, and that involves four consecutive rockets that home in on the target. Bring on the pain. Both are found at Tormentor667's website. Look under the "Beastiary" page. www.realm667.com. Note: The Incubus WAD includes two creatures in one. The creature you see here is the Incubus (summon name "Incubus") whilst the other is the Greater Incubus (summon name "GreaterIncubus"). There is at least one WAD that has the Incubus, and that is NeoDoom. Unless you safely remove the Incubus from that WAD completely, you can't use the incubus.wad with NeoDoom. Oh and a Cyberdemon-based boss is under construction. All by me!

Boss Demon Hatred 11: 3 Avatar vs. 8 Diabolists

11 rounds so far. The Avatar returns. Based on the "Heresiarch" boss from Hexen, and solidified for extended battle with 4,000 hitpoints, he's a worthy contender. His four attacks are fun to behold. The first is a lost-soul sprite that tracks targets and deals about 80 to 100 explosive damage. Second involves firing three red lightning bolts that can knock enemies back quite a ways. Third is a powerful blue ball that resembles a BFG blast that, on contact, disperses into many smaller balls to deal even more damage. The fourth is potentially the most powerful; a long stream of fireballs that can kill a hell-knight with one full stream. Ouch! There's 3 of them, equaling 12,000. The contenders are 8 diabolists (summon name is "Diabloist"). They are based on the Arch-Vile. Part Alien/Demon pyromaniac, these guys have several fire-based attacks. They'll either launch a stream of small fireballs that can be quite powerful, a floor-traveling flame that deals explosive damage on impact, a ring of fire, and summoning a flame on their target (much like the Arch-Vile, but this flame deals damage). Each one has 1,400 hit points. Since there are 8 of them, that brings the sum total to 11,200 hit points for the 3 avatars to deal with. 11,200 versus 12,000! Good luck! Get both of them at Tormentor667's website, under the Beastiary section. www.realm667.com

Boss Demon Hatred 10: 2 Greater Incubi vs. 4 Cyberdemons Uploader: Mythosician06
Boss Demon Hatred 10: 2 Greater Incubi vs. 4 Cyberdemons

After a long delay, round 10 has come. The almighty Cyberdemon returns to the fray, with his 4,000 health points, three-shot (consecutive) rocket attack, and goatish gait, he's here for a party. Against the player, the rockets deal at least 80 damage in most cases. Since there's 4 of them, that makes 16,000 health points altogether. That's a spicy meat-a ball! But let's not forget that bulk often gets the best of people...The Greater Incubi is here to fight. His attacks are long and incredibly powerful. His two attacks, one being a crackling stream of "napalm" that, thanks to it's sustained nature, can eradicate even a Baron of Hell in most cases, and the other attack being four consecutive homing rockets, are formidable. At 5,000 health each, and with two of them on the battlefield, how can they stand up to 16,000 health points? Good luck. More to come! Grab the Greater Incubus at Tormentor667's "Beastiary" page, at www.realm667.com. He's on page 3. The Cyberdemon is untainted. Note: I am designing what I aim to be a very creative Cyberdemon-based monster. Oh, it'll be a real blast on the battlefield. Just you wait, fellow Doomers!

ZDoom: Battle of the Titans REMAKE

The original was just a bit of fun. Now, this is the real deal... Complete, uninterrupted fighting between the Cyberdemon, one of the most infamous bosses in FPS gaming history (28 of them) vs. the obscure, fan-made Avatar, a spell-casting demon of immense power as durable as the Cyberdemon (again, 28 of them). This takes place in HateArena.wad, made by the user HotWax. It's found in the zdoom wiki. Cutmanmike hosts the file as well, at cutstuff.net/blog. A higher quality video file makes this a more festive watch.

Boss Demon Hatred 9: 2 Thamuz vs. 3 HammerHounds Uploader: Mythosician06
Boss Demon Hatred 9: 2 Thamuz vs. 3 HammerHounds

9th inning, just like baseball! 3 Hammerhounds and 2 Thamuz' square off. The Hammerhounds are from the bosses.wad (a sort of resource wad, albeit a small one), whilst Thamuz has his own wad. There are several versions of Thamuz floatin' around the net, and this is just one of them. Thamuz is a Cyberdemon based monster. In it's solo-wad incarnation, he is backed by 4,800 hitpoints. Pretty steady. He has about 3 attacks, one of them capable of deflecting projectile attacks (and being immune to hitscan attacks completely). The first is a long volley of green fireballs that totals perhaps 100 or so damage. The next is a larger fireball that appears to be a tracer, but a poor one at that. Since I rarely play against Thamuz, I don't know much about this barely used attack. His last one is perhaps his most devious. He freezes himself in a pain animation, and a bunch of green flames appear on the ground around him. While doing this, he is invincible and deflects projectiles (so watch out with that BFG9K). After a few seconds, the green flames shoot out with high velocity and do very high damage. So while the Hammerhounds launch their ranged attacks at 'em, hurting themselves in the process, Thamuz is about to fire 3 green flames for solid damage. Hammerhounds have 3,500 health, so they have quite a disadvantage here. However, there are 3 of them. Anyway, Hammerhounds have seismic attacks, as well as ranged ones involving rocks and whatever. He either produces a bunch of rocks in the air that come down, dealing splash damage on impact, or a bunch of rocks that spin around him and launch towards the enemy (usually you, by default). His seismic attacks involve firing a rock or something that heads towards the enemy's last position. It produces an interesting animation to say the least. The other one involves them pounding the ground, producing a wave that causes pretty nasty damage. They do this rapidly and quite often as well, so they can kill many enemies pretty quickly with that attack alone. 3 on 2, who will win? Thamuz can be found as a solo-wad (this incarnation for your referrence) at Tormentor667's site: http://www.realm667.com. As usual, it's in the Beastiary section. The Hammerhound is a part of the Bosses.wad, found here: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=12888 Note: I don't suggest summoning the Super Cyber as it causes a bug that can end the level for no real reason. So if you are recording a video and summon a super cyber, you just screwed up your chances to make a cool video since the level finish screen will appear after a minute.

Boss Demon Hatred 8: 2 Praevus vs. 4 Annihilators Uploader: Mythosician06
Boss Demon Hatred 8: 2 Praevus vs. 4 Annihilators

8 times a lady! This here lucky 8 inning pits the lord Praevus against Annihilators. Making this their third appearance in this series, they sure are handy killers. Actually, the annihilator that appears in this video has been lightly modified for Aeons of Death. Praevus is a Hexen II based monster, and used by the Aeons of Death wad. Since it's so freakin' hard to find him in the enormous WAD file (making for well over one hundred megabytes total), I don't know his health. I estimate it to be in the range of 8,000 hitpoints. However, he's a strange cookie. He launches a blue fireball or two that, on impact, sends out a bunch of trails of blue flame to spread out in a star-shape. This can be pretty damaging. He also shoots a whitish mass of energy that does heavy damage. He can summon a slow-moving but nasty (short) wall of flame on the ground. Alas, he lets loose a bunch of small green balls of plasma that absolutely peppers enemies up close. Couple all those attacks, quite clearly extremely powerful, with a teleportation ability, and you've got quite a son of a bitch. Good luck, Annihilators. The Annihilator and Praevus are found in the Aeons of Death (AeoD) WAD, a unique wad in that it contains a hell of a lot of content (hundreds upon hundreds of monsters, dozens of weapons, many new effects, and much more); plus, it's unique mostly in how astoundingly big it is for a Doom related file. You can get it here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/fshdu1. Note: It is listed as a WORK IN PROGRESS. Also, for ZDoom, you need SVN files or whatever to be able to handle all of the features in the game. The summon code for Praevus is pretty much "Praevus." Favor: If you can find Praevus in the WAD file through XWE, please let me know where to go in the DECORATE list. Takes almost half an hour to go through one whole thing, and that's way too much lookin' (There's some hitching that occurs in this video, but I don't know what was causing it. The hitching isn't long or intrusive, at least)

Boss Demon Hatred 7: 2 Cyberminds vs. 6 Pyrodemons Uploader: Mythosician06
Boss Demon Hatred 7: 2 Cyberminds vs. 6 Pyrodemons

7 delightful rounds. This time around, we see two new contenders. First, we have the CyberMastermind. It's an amalgamation of the Spider-Mastermind and the Cyberdemon. The other is the PyroDemon, a Baron-based monster. The CyberMastermind is loaded with 5,000 health, not too bad. It sports a chaingun and a rocket launcher. The Cybermastermind's chaingun shoots a tad faster than the Spider Mastermind's chaingun. The rocket launcher continuously fires every 1.5 seconds or so. So you have to not only dodge the hitscan attack of the chaingun, but you have to watch out for the rockets so as you don't get wrapped up and sent him in several GLAD garbage bags. Two of these guys makes for 10,000 health that the Pyro Demons have to contend with... The Pyro Demon is based off the Baron of Hell. Sporting 2,500 hitpoints, they're barely weaker than the Spider Mastermind. Anyway, these guys launch a lot of fireballs, leave a trail of fire in their wake, cause what looks to be meteors to rain down from the sky, and have a melee attack as well. Plus, many of their attacks look ridiculous. Also, the lightshow these guys create causes a tiny bit of lag. Alas, they have a bit of a teleport ability it seems. Just like with the Masterminds, the health of all four Pyro Demons totals 10,000 hitpoints. Seems like a pretty equal game, right? Two on two action in the final part of the series! It's the Cyber Annihilator again, and he's just as in a killin' mood as ever. Now he fights two Greater Incubi, some really fat stuff with powerful explosive attacks. The Greater Incubus has 5,000 health, so 1,000 less than the Annihilator. However, he has two ultra-powerful attacks with huge explosions: A large stream of crackling fireballs that can kill most enemies in one stream. Fight! A fifth go. Cyber Annihilators against Archons of Hell? Who will win this one? The Cyber Annihilator's right arm is a rocket launcher as well. He also has 6,000 health. They fire two rockets at a time, in a volley of 3. There are two different rockets fired, one is a normal rocket and the other (blueish in colour) is a tracer. He's slightly slower than the original Cyberdemon, but a lot more powerful. The Archon of Hell is a Baron of Hell based monster with 2,000 hitpoints each. They launch the original Baron fireballs in varying amounts, and another attack involves combining their fireballs from both hands into one really nasty super fireball. Boss Demon Hatred 4 of 6: 1 Infernal Spider vs. 3 Thors Uploader: Mythosician06
Boss Demon Hatred 4 of 6: 1 Infernal Spider vs. 3 Thors

Yes, part four has arrived. An incredibly strong and crazy monster, called the Infernal Spider, single-handedly takes on three clones of the Asgardian god, Thor. The Infernal Spider, looking like an over sized giant spider from "Blood", has an amazing 16,000 health. She's fast, leaps incredibly high into the air to cause a stomp attack (which also shakes the screen), ejects several smaller spiders to swarm the enemy, launches a nasty stream of fire at the enemy, and shoots a couple of fireballs. Fast, incredibly strong, and powerful. That's quite something to live up to. Thor only has about 3,000 health and is slow as you can get. Instead of really doing anything, he starts up a crapload of fountains in the area that deal some damage over time, as well as a randomized stream of electricity on the ground. He seems to deflect projectile attacks as well. Lastly, he lifts up his staff, making it glow a funky shade of blue, and fires a couple of balls of electricity at a target. Nasty fight, eh? Might be a little loud though, thanks to the Infernal Spider. Grab this stuff at Tormentor667's site, track them down in the "Beastiary" section: http://www.realm667.com

Boss Demon Hatred 3 of 6: 3 Hellsmiths vs. 6 Terminators

It's clobberin' time! The halfway point of the series has 3 of those dastardly Hellsmiths, packing all that power under 6,000 hitpoints of brutality, against 6 Terminators, with 7,000 hitpoints. Terminators have several attacks. Primarily, they like to fire a powerful machinegun for a sustained period, sometimes until their quarry is dead 'n' gone. Another attack is a short ranged one which, on contact, spreads out into many different bolts that goes through the enemy (looking like a fountain); essentially, this is a splash damage attack. It's got a red fireball. Their other attack is a small yellow fireball that doesn't make for much of a lightshow, at all. The trouble with these guys is that they attack a lot, especially with their primary means of killin'. They also pack a pretty high amount of health, nearly twice that of a Cyberdemon, so there's bound to be heavy competition. Who will prevail? Who will die last? These monsters are available at Tormentor667's website, full of really awesome Doom material, most of which is for the source-port that is (G)ZDoom. Check out the Beastiary! Boss Demon Hatred 2 of 6: 3 Azazels vs. 4 Avatars

Killer instinct! In this here part of this hateful series, we see 3 Azazels square off with 4 Avatars. Quite a competition. Breakdown... Azazels have 2,400 health. Not too high, eh? Who cares; their attacks are fast and powerful. They throw grew sparks that deal a significant amount of damage, about 60 to 70, plus they do this quite a bit in battle. They also throw a red fireball, barely noticeable in this video, that deals about the same damage. When they are "stunned" (otherwise known as 'pain animation'), they sometimes cause an aura to spread out, dealing incredible damage per fireball. Avatars have the same health as Cyberdemons. Yikes! Their attacks are intimidating, but slow because of the warm-up, each indicated by the colour of their hands. Blue hands will summon a blue BFG ball that disperses into many smaller bolts on impact (doesn't "paint" an area like the actual BFG); if the ball doesn't kill you on impact, the many bolts that appear will. Grey hands launches a lost-soul like fireball that is just like the Revenant's fireball, but faster. Red hands will fire a couple of lightning bolts, severely pushing back those who are hit but not dealing too much damage. Orange hands will see to it that a concentrated stream of fireballs pepper an enemy for insane damage. What a fight! Grab these nutjobs at Tormentor667's website, and look for the "Beastiary" page. Boss Demon Hatred 1 of 6: 2 Hellsmiths vs. 4 Demolishers

This takes place in the single-level specialty wad "Hate Arena." It has a similarity to a wad that some user on Youtube uses for his "Doom Gladiator" series. Suffice to say, this one is not nearly as impressive, nor as fun to watch :P Anyway, the monsters in action are 2 Hellsmiths. Very strong, very powerful demons with voice taunts! These jerks will do charge attacks that look freakin' sweet (and a lot of damage), shield themselves with a pentagram of fire on the ground to hurt you a bit, bash the ground with their hammer to cause fire that spreads out, and throw fireballs that do an unholy amount of splash damage! Their melee attack (same as that of the charge attack, minus the cool animation) is so powerful it can cause an imp to turn inside out on death. Talk about brutal! They're matched by four Demolishers, who are modified Spider Masterminds packing another chaingun (Two of those guns? You thought Masterminds were ungodly) and a BFG 9000! Both monsters have 6,000 health points. The Hellsmith can kill you with that fireball attack that causes the massive splash animation in one hit, even after you grabbed a megasphere. So powerful they can kill several Barons in one hit! Who will win!? This is the 1st of 6 in the series. Hell, this was a little interesting, so more may follow! Always fun watching these titans square off. You can find the monsters at Tormentor667's website, a neatly designed one at that: http://www.realm667.com. Look for the "Beastiary" section.

Zero Tolerance (ZDoom Wad) Introduction Uploader: Mythosician06
Zero Tolerance (ZDoom Wad) Introduction

'Zero Tolerance' is a wad by a user called ZeroProphet. The WAD is clearly inspired by Xaser's 'Zen Dynamics'. For the first "segment" of the story, which is basically the DOOM2 IWAD un-touched, the music has been changed with tracks made by the author and others. This helps distinguish the wad quite a bit. But after "The Crusher", things pretty much change back to normal, albeit with different weapons, monsters, and effects (and XDeath sequences from what it seems). Some of the weapons are terrific fun, while others are downright dull and just don't fit in (like weapon slots 3 and 7, those weapons should have been right scrapped or replaced). Anyway, this is the first level, "Entryway." It's running on GZDoom. Download link is here: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=15321
