Betrayal - Part Two UPDATE: Betrayal featured in Halifax's local newspaper, The Courier. Read the Online story here. (http://www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/news/Movie-triumph-for-two-teens.4525415.jp) PART TWO of Betrayal a dark, gripping gangster drama and the latest film from rstudios in association with J.Hayes Production Ltd. Two criminals must find out who amongst them has ratted out to the police before it's too late. Finally, nearly a year since we first had the idea the film is released! I'm really happy with the way the film came out, especially considering our £10 budget and I'd like to say a special thanks to my Dad and all the actors involved. Students from my school NHGS, will recognize this film from when we showed it in Feburary. DVDs are still available to buy and ship to anywhere and include over 30 minutes of making of footage, outtakes, interviews and more. Cold Comfort - In 6 Minutes *Sorry for the random blackness at the end.* In 2005 I entered my film Cold Comfort into the Co-Operative Young Film Makers Festival in Bradford, England. The film was selected as out of 300 or so entries and, along with another 99 was shown on a cinema screen in front of 300 people. Unfortunately the festival requirements stated that entered films must be up to or under 6 minutes long, so I had to cut 3 minutes of the original film to enter the festival. Here's the finished edit of "Clemens Et Feles Sacra" (Clemens and the Sacred Cat,) a film I made with my friends for Latin class. They were asked to tell the story of Clemens, a character they had been learning about all year, in either a film or storyboard style. They wanted me to help out, even though I don't study Latin, because if I was envolved it would obviously be a success! :P It was filmed entirely in one day, and on no budget, as you can probably see. "Clemens Et Feles Sacra" has had great success and has become my friend's now retired Latin teacher, Mr. Edward's, favorite film. I even received a certificate of excellence for making it, despite the fact I don't study Latin! Recently, when Mr. Edwards retired, I was approached by the Head of our school who had found it here on YouTube and wanted to show it at Mr. Edwards retirement assembly! NHGS students may remember seeing clips of this film in the final assembly of the 2007 school year. 24 - In Lego http://www.rstudios.co.uk/24lego Began in August 2006, this is a 9 minute original episode of the show "24," but in lego. I did everything myself, including writing the story, and have been working on it a few times each month since last year. It stars quite a few "famous" people from Brickfilms.com, including the site owner Joshua "RevMen" Leasure and tells the tale of Jack Bauer, an agent working for CTU (The Counter Terrorist Unit,) who learns that something big is going to happen at The President's speech later in the day...
