Goodbye

Goodbye...?
I wrote this after the man I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with sent me a text message telling me he let a girl move in with him... and he wasn't sure if things between us would work... we lived in different cities.... It’s been a long time coming….. Goodbye is the hardest word to say But it is something I must do....... I just wish I could say it to your face You have broken every promise...... Left my heart broken and tattered I love you, all that you would say...... As if that were all that mattered I still want you heart and soul..... But only if you are mine alone Please don’t try to hold onto me now...... For your love for me is gone I'm making a book of my poetry and not sure if I want to include this one... what do you think... should I put it in or just keep it in a notebook.
